Hi there! My name is Drew, and I’m the Office Manager here at Paws & Anchor! While this is my main position now, I have had the pleasure of working almost every other position at our small business as well. From grooming assistant to bather, and even In-Home Care pet sitting and dog walking (prior to covid), as well! I have 3+ years of professional experience working with animals. However, I haven’t always worked in this industry. Music is another big passion of mine and I have worked in recording studios, and was a long time employee of a vinyl record shop since I was a teenager. I came to a point in my mid-twenties where I was a bit lost and unsure of what I truly wanted to do, so I took a leap of faith into the pet care industry, as animals have always been another personal passion of mine. I'm the proud owner of my rescue pit bull, “Clash” (named after the band!) and I am a huge advocate for “adopt, don’t shop!” I enjoy interacting with all of our clients - Canine, Feline, and Human! The bonds we create with owners, thanks to the trust they put in us to take care of their beloved pets, is really special! Working with a talented & passionate crew of friends, as well as proudly representing a kick-ass small business, is equally rewarding!
