Like my colleagues, I have always loved animals since I was young. I am a mom to a very cute and fluffy tuxedo cat named Holi (but goes only by Kitty, really). When I was hired at Paws & Anchor as an Assistant Office Manager, I had no idea that I would end up grooming. Eventually, I decided that learning to groom was for me. I’ve spent my time learning as much as possible about the profession so I can be as educated as possible. After years of studying grooming, gaining every industry certification I could get, plenty of hands on experience, and growing with Paws & Anchor, I was promoted to Assistant Salon Manager. I think it is important to be as knowledgeable as you can when it comes to your career, especially when it comes to caring for people’s pets. I love being able to work in a cageless salon that puts health, care, and safety above all. And of course, making sure all the pets that leave our salon are happy and adorable!
